Lydian is my favorite mode of the Major Scale, not only for the way it makes me feel when I hear it, but from a guitar-playing perspective, how it transforms my guitar playing in a different way than any other tonality. This handful of signature licks of mine will do well to outline the emotive sound of Lydian and translate to other modes of various scales and how to take advantage of intervals over harmony.
