It's not very often you have the privilege to see your favorite guitar player perform for you in person, and thanks to a perfect Christmas gift from my wife back in December, I was set to go see Satriani shred in Charlotte, NC. The trip was great, and while I wasn't able to catch a pick flicked into the audience by my hero, I was able to capture some memories I'll hold onto for the rest of my life. Side note: whiskey is a wonderful enhancement for any rock n' roll show.
