Unfortunately, we have to practice in order to get better at guitar. There is no magical way to get better at guitar without putting in the work (or is there?). With that in mind, you want to make sure the time you spend practicing yields the most optimal results, or else you're not only being bored while you shed the Super Locrian mode or the Lydian Augmented mode, you're wasting your time, too.
I offer a tip to maximize the time you spend practicing, essentially multiplying the amount of exercises you do while also making you a better musician in the process. So, grab a metronome, turn the gain down to 1, and let's get started.
